While the renovation of our new office was still underway, the RWA team decided to undertake a first aid training course with St John. Health & Safety is a top priority for RWA, and we are committed to keeping everyone safe while the renovations were taking place in the new office. A lot of team members had been thinking about taking individual First Aid training courses, so it was great to have a chance to train together.
RWA’s Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Amelia Fitchew, is one of the team members who enjoyed the experience most. She says the training was fascinating, and really felt like she was bonding with her team members.
The St John motto is that “Everybody should have some level of first aid ability, because accidents and medical emergencies can happen anywhere at any time,” and we really benefited from their message. The training made us realise once again that everyone has a part to play when it comes to keeping us safe at work. Besides learning new skills, the training also gave us a perfect chance to build trust with our team members, and we are very grateful to have had this opportunity.
