Life at RWA

The RWA team is a great representation of the technology industry in New Zealand. Our employees come from a diverse range of countries (8 at the last count) and backgrounds.

This blog is a platform for us to allow each RWA employee to share their own stories and industry insights. From sales events and Meetups through to personal pursuits, someone is always up to something interesting.

It’s also our opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of our contractors.

There’s Something Fishy About RWA’s New Team Members

The last six months have been quite exciting at RWA. We’ve moved to a lovely new office, had a few new team members join the RWA family, held a baby shower for two of our lovely consultants, took home SEEK SARA’s Most Innovative Agency of the Year award and won the first ever NZHR Award for Recruitment Excellence! Phew! And now we’ve got some more news to share; we’ve got five new team members (sort of)! So, without further delay, let’s get the introductions out the way:

GeofferyGeoffrey

Geoffrey is the most mysterious of them all.

He spends all day hiding in the seaweed and only comes out once the others are asleep. Rumour has it he has the voice of an angel but a face for radio, so he sings at night when no one can see him. We love you Geoffrey!

JorgeJorge

Jorge has a Mexican heritage but contrary to what you may think, he doesn’t like Mexican food at all. Especially churros due to a heart-breaking accident involving a churro-ring jumping contest at a fiesta. He doesn’t like talking about it.

BiggyBiggy

Biggy is chasing his dream of following in the footsteps of the late great Biggy Smalls. He has a mix-tape dropping 21st May in honour of the Notorious B.I.G – his raps are mostly about heartbreak and his time in prison.

 WiremuWiremu

Wiremu brings the heart of  Aotearoa to the tank with his solid background in KapaHaka and Ta Moko tattooing. He is open for bookings. Let’s all welcome Wiremu.

GoldmemberGoldmember

Goldmember is an absolute baller and his scales are cosmetically coated in real gold.

He’s the big fish who runs the tank and is a huge fan of Austin Powers, hence the name.
