“A call comes in, a user reports her keyboard is going erratic. She says it is “possessed.” I take a stroll down to the office bearing a new replacement keyboard.
I get there and begin to make sure that it is indeed a faulty keyboard, and not just some gunk sticking the key down.
“I got a call from a user who says they’re moving the mouse and pressing keys but the computer isn’t waking up. I would have troubleshooted over the phone but the user is pretty much right outside of my office and I wanted to get some coffee anyway.
