A Lifetime in Security
With a career in information security spanning over twenty years, Peter has a fair bit of knowledge about the past, present and future of this exciting industry.
Peter entered the industry in a Project Management role and was hooked instantly. He has now achieved just about everything in his field, from overseeing security for a large telco, having own his company, consulting and now working as a Security Architect for Trend Micro.

Getting into Security
For those looking to break into the Information Security industry, Peter recommends taking the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. He comments on the important skills that this exam gives you, which will assist you in your career in the future.
Peter’s also talks about his exposure to ethical hacking and how people with a lateral method of thinking are best suited to this space, plus his views on security being a bigger issue than just technology.
