How Can Employers Ensure Hiring Success? – Recruiter Tips

Securing the best candidates is vital for every employer. Building the best team possible will ensure the highest levels of productivity and a better product, but as the IT market candidate shortage grows, especially for UI and UX roles, how can employers engage the best talent? RWA Senior Recruitment Specialist, Danielle Kelly, identifies the most sought after roles and explains how employers can get the best people for these roles.

Securing the Best Candidates

Danielle outlines some of the key things employers can do to ensure they get the best candidates, most notably the need for employers to keep the recruitment process moving as quickly as possible. She cautions that when employers have hiring processes that last beyond three weeks, it’s highly possible that your preferred candidate has either become disillusioned with the process or has received another offer.

The most sought after candidates may have as many as five or six offers and the first offer will often be the one they choose in the end.

Working with a Recruiter

There are significant benefits for an employer to work with a recruitment agency. Firstly, as Danielle discusses, a specialist recruitment agency, such as RWA, can get shortlisted candidate resumes to the employer within a few hours. Recruiters also ensure a good selection of candidates that meet the employer’s brief, reducing the amount of time the employer spends on the overall hiring process.

Danielle also discusses why employers should work with RWA for their recruitment needs, she comments on the expertise within the team and RWA’s presence across the IT market.
