Life at RWA

The RWA team is a great representation of the technology industry in New Zealand. Our employees come from a diverse range of countries (8 at the last count) and backgrounds.

This blog is a platform for us to allow each RWA employee to share their own stories and industry insights. From sales events and Meetups through to personal pursuits, someone is always up to something interesting.

It’s also our opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of our contractors.

Thank You, Mike and Denis! – RWA Technology People Undergoes Leadership Change

Thank you, Denis and Mike!

We’d like to announce that we’ve undergone a leadership change, with current Directors, Mike Hogg and Denis Parkinson, calling it a day and bringing an end to their long careers in the IT recruitment industry. Although Mike and Denis – who founded RWA together 18 years ago – are heading off into the evening sun, it leaves a great opportunity for a new leadership team to take the business forward into its next chapter.

Whilst there won’t be any operational changes, Carol Kouwenhoven and Kerry Paltridge have joined us as new Directors and are looking forward to continuing the success of the RWA brand. Carol brings with her an extensive People and Culture (HR) background in Europe whilst Kerry has close to 20 years’ experience in enterprise-level service delivery and sales.

In a joint statement, Mike and Denis commented, “We want to thank everyone involved with RWA as the business has transformed over the last two decades. With Carol and Kerry joining the team, we know that we’re leaving the business in great hands and have no doubt that the principles upon which RWA has been built will remain at its core moving forward.”

Welcome, Kerry and Carol!

Carol and Kerry added, “We are really excited to be joining the RWA team and continuing the great work that Mike and Denis have undertaken over the last 18 years. Although this change means new leadership, what won’t change is the same great service that candidates and clients have come to expect from the team here. We are convinced that with the people we have, RWA has a very exciting future.”

It’s business-as-usual for us, but if you have any questions about the change, get in touch with your consultant directly.
