The Opportunity
My client is a trusted provider of enterprise-grade physical security solutions across New Zealand. They design, install, and support advanced systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, ALPR, and intercoms. The team works with leading technologies such as Genetec Security Centre and premium CCTV brands to protect critical infrastructure, commercial facilities, and high-security environments. What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with Sales on pre-sales deliverables: gather requirements, design high-level system architecture, compile bills of materials
  • Configure and commission Genetec Security Center solutions—Omnicast, Synergis, AutoVu—with support for video, access control, intrusion detection, ALPR, intercoms
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers and installers; conduct site visits and manage UAT and end-user training
  • Deliver L2 technical support for ongoing operations, including firmware upgrades and system enhancements
  • Maintain documentation—“as-built” diagrams, internal Wiki updates, reporting—and advise on system improvements like visual tracking, Plan Manager, or new device onboarding
What You Bring
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Genetec Security Center
  • Certified in Omnicast, Synergis, and AutoVu; Sipelia training is a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise-level physical security systems
  • Experienced across full project lifecycle: pre-sales, configuration, commissioning, documentation, BAU support
  • Bonus: familiarity with Axis, i-PRO/Panasonic, Hanwha cameras
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
