We are seeking a Mobile Test Engineer who is passionate about hands-on testing in a real-world device environment. The role involves testing across a diverse ecosystem of mobile devices and connected hardware — including iPhones, Android devices, GoPros, and Raspberry Pi units — within our controlled in-office mock site setup.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and performance across multiple mobile platforms, customer environments, and hardware integrations. Due to the complexity and physical setup required, this position is on-site only and cannot be performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated testing for mobile applications (iOS and Android) in an integrated environment with live devices and hardware.
• Manage and maintain a physical test environment that includes iPhones, Android phones, GoPros, Raspberry Pi systems, and network-connected mock sites.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing across devices and configurations.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and system engineers to identify and resolve defects.
• Develop and document detailed test cases, test data, and test scripts.
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues across various mobile and IoT setups.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback on usability, stability, and performance.
• Support setup and maintenance of test automation where feasible.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mobile Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications.
• Experience using tools such as Appium, Xcode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, or similar would be an advantage but not required
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
