The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our product and engineering team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our software is robust, reliable, and ready for release, with responsibility for delivering both manual and automated testing across the product lifecycle.

We’re seeking someone with an automation and AI-first mindset, who cares about improving QA workflows, reducing repetitive work, and introducing intelligent solutions to increase efficiency, scalability, and quality. This includes hands-on experience with AI-assisted test creation, intelligent regression selection, automated failure analysis, and exploratory testing augmentation.

Key Responsibilitie
  • Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and supporting documentation.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests across functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, and API layers.
  • Develop and evolve automated test suites, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Apply AI-assisted techniques such as automated test generation, intelligent regression selection, failure analysis, and exploratory testing augmentation to improve coverage, speed, and confidence in releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. Validate product functionality and ensure compliance with accessibility, performance, and design standards.
  • Support release readiness by verifying features, enhancements, and platform stability. Champion a culture of automation-first testing and advocate for AI-powered QA improvements.
  • Maintain and evolve the test environment to support continuous integration and deployment.
  • Follow agile development practices and actively contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on quality goals and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of tasks, proactively solve problems, and contribute ideas to improve testing strategy and coverage.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial testing experience.
  • Proven experience designing and executing manual and automated tests.
  • Demonstrated automation-first and AI-first mindset, applying automation and AI to optimise QA workflows and eliminate repetitive work.
  • Hands-on experience with functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of agile software development practices. 
  • Proficiency with the following tools and technologies:
○ Playwright for browser automation and end-to-end testing
○ Strong coding experience using Typescript/Javascript
○ Postman for API testing
○ Git for version control and code collaboration
○ Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
  • Hands-on experience in security and penetration testing, including validation of common vulnerabilities and security controls.
  • Experience independently driving quality strategy and influencing automation practices across teams
