The Opportunity
Solution Architect – CRM, Applications & Integration
A global organisation with a strong digital footprint in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support two major transformation programmes spanning customer platforms, CRM, applications, and integrations.
Based in Auckland, this role sits within a small, delivery-focused local team and works closely with colleagues across APAC and an offshore delivery partner. You’ll play a hands-on role shaping solutions, supporting active delivery, and helping drive modern, scalable technology outcomes.
About the role
This contract will support two strategic programmes of work:
You will play a key role in the ongoing architecture and delivery of a customer-facing application, supporting continued development, integration, and optimisation following an initial release. The focus is on enabling better digital experiences through well-designed application and integration architecture, working across multiple internal teams and external partners.
You will also contribute to a Cloud Telephony Modernisation initiative focused on evolving core platforms and services. This work will involve collaborating with architecture and delivery teams across regions to support scalable, cloud-aligned solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Own solution architecture across CRM, applications, and system integrations
- Translate business requirements into clear, pragmatic technical designs
- Collaborate across multiple technology teams and geographies
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance to delivery teams
- Support vendor engagement and integration delivery
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards while meeting delivery timelines
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect across CRM, applications, and integrations
- Strong background working in complex, multi-team environments
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions and modern digital platforms
- Comfortable working with offshore vendors and global stakeholders
- Able to operate autonomously within a small, lean local team
- Strong communication skills with a delivery-focused mindset
