End User Compute Engineer (FIXED TERM CONTRACT - One Year)Digital Operations Team We’re looking for an experienced
End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to join our Digital team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-user devices, software, and services—ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performing computing environment while contributing to key digital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role You will manage and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring applications and operating systems are configured, packaged, and deployed efficiently. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with security standards, optimising performance, and enhancing the end-user experience.
You’ll also provide
Level 2 support and mentor Service Desk Analysts, helping resolve complex technical issues and improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain end-user devices, software, and services across the organisation
- Package, configure, and deploy applications using SCCM/Intune
- Ensure devices meet security, patching, and compliance standards
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Citrix environments
- Support and maintain systems including printing, file services, remote access, and telephony
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop and mobile issues
- Contribute to projects, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders
What You’ll Bring - Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, SCCM/Intune, and Citrix
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and device management
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Experience supporting desktop hardware and enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Desirable Qualifications - Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications
- Endpoint Administrator or Administrator Expert certification
- Citrix certification
Experience - Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (preferred)
- Extensive experience in end-user computing and enterprise environments
- Experience working in medium to large, complex organisations
