We’re looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join a well-established NZ-based media and broadcasting environment, working across digital platforms that deliver content at scale.
This is a hands-on role for someone strong across web, mobile, API, and performance testing, with the ability to build automation and ensure high-performing user experiences across multiple platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and scaling automation frameworks across web and mobile platforms
• Driving performance testing to ensure reliability across high-traffic digital products
• Leading API and backend testing (REST/GraphQL)
• Embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases
• Identifying issues and continuously improving test coverage and performance

What you need:

• Strong experience across web, mobile, and API testing
• Proven performance testing experience (essential)
• Solid automation experience using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium
• Experience with performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or similar
• Ability to write automation in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of testing across the SDLC
• Mobile testing experience across iOS and Android
• Must have New Zealand experience

Nice to have:

• Experience in media, streaming platforms, or Smart TV app testing
• Exposure to security testing practices
