Our client is a small, industry-focused training provider in Auckland helping young people launch careers in technology, and they need someone from the industry to lead their team of trainers and shape how they teach it.
  
About our client
Around 170 students, a close-knit team, and a learning environment designed to feel more like a real workplace than a classroom. Their programmes cover cloud engineering, infrastructure, and software development, and they work with a diverse student base — many coming straight from school. They genuinely care about creating pathways into tech for people who haven't taken the traditional route.
  
About the role
This is a teaching and leadership role in equal measure. You'll lead a team of Digital Learning trainers, carry your own student-facing teaching load (around 15 hours per week with Level 7 students on the Diploma in Cloud Management), and contribute to how programmes evolve over time. You'll work closely with senior leadership on strategic direction while staying hands-on with students and staff day to day.

Our client isn't looking for someone who's spent years in a lecture theatre. They'll train the right person on NZQA processes, assessment design, and marking. What they can't teach is deep technical credibility and the ability to connect with people — that's what they're hiring for.
