We are looking for an Operational Technology Implementation Engineer to join an Auckland-based team. In this customer-facing role, you will act as a trusted technical authority, leading projects end-to-end and mentoring a talented team. You will bridge the gap between a customer’s operational reality and a technically excellent, commercially viable solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure flagship operational technology products.
• Integrate third-party enterprise systems including Cloud Data Platforms, ERP, CMMS, and BI.
• Design, build, deploy, and support real-time industrial applications using time-series historians.
• Provide second- and third-line technical support for deployed solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and unblocking support to intermediate and graduate engineers.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial, energy, utilities, or other process-oriented environments.
• Hands-on experience with time-series historian platforms such as AVEVA PI, Canary, Aspen IP21, or InfluxDB.
• Strong SQL skills and scripting capability in PowerShell or Python.
• Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and manage delivery.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex, production-level issues.
