We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Test Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is suited to a quality-focused testing professional with strong experience across Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud platforms, including campaign, integration, automation, and data validation testing.

You will play a key role in ensuring Salesforce solutions are delivered to a high standard, supporting reliable customer engagement, business processes, and platform performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies for Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud solutions
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases and regression pipelines
• Validate Marketing Cloud campaigns, customer journeys, personalisation, segmentation, entry sources, decision splits, and channel delivery
• Validate subscriber data models, Contact Keys, Sendable Data Extensions, attribute relationships, and data synchronisation
• Test Salesforce integrations, APIs, and end-to-end workflows across systems
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA Leads, and stakeholders
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure testing practices align with Agile, DevOps, security, and quality standards
• Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing/quality engineering
• Minimum 2+ years of experience testing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Journey Builder
  • Email Studio
  • Automation Studio
  • Contact Builder
  • Data Extensions
• Experience testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Xray
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce CRM integrations and customisations
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Datadog
• ISTQB or relevant testing certification
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
