The role
As an Intermediate Developer, you'll design, build and maintain quality software alongside senior developers, engineering leaders and cross-functional teams. You'll:
  • Write accurate, well-structured code to specification, and suggest improvements to those specifications
  • Contribute to the technical design of functional solutions
  • Plan your coding and non-coding time to meet individual and team commitments
  • Agree on what's delivered each development cycle and deliver quality work
  • Resolve technical problems independently, and ask for input on the trickier ones
  • Learn from senior colleagues to deepen your technical and product knowledge
  • Take ownership of your ongoing learning and training
About you
  • 2–5 years' solid coding experience in an application development environment
  • Ruby on Rails experience (their main focus)
  • C# experience (around 2 years) and strong WPF knowledge, both highly valued
  • A good grasp of the full SDLC and confidence with modern development tools and frameworks
  • A problem-solver's mindset, able to spot flaws in existing code and improve it
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure and Web Services, Programming in C#) are a bonus
